Musculoskeletal Medicine
We treat a variety of conditions related to the spine or muscular system, which include back pain, sports injuries, workplace injuries, spinal cord injury, chronic pain, brain injury, neck pain, arthritis, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, carpal tunnel syndrome.
Our physician will conduct a comprehensive examination to establish a plan of care. We may offer treatments in our office or coordinate your care at a specialized facility.
Electrodiagnosis
Electrodiagnostic medicine is the study of diseases of nerves and muscles, and can diagnose or rule out conditions that cause numbness, tingling, pain, weakness, or muscle cramping.
We provide EMG testing and Nerve Conduction Studies, or NCV. These electrodiagnostic tests use electical signals to see if your muscles and nerves are working right. These tests are extremely beneficial in helping a physician decide what is wrong and how it can be treated.
Chronic Pain Management/ Rehabilitation
Chronic pain has many causes. We treat chronic pain that is associated with conditions related to the musculoskeletal system. We also offer rehabilitation services for those who have suffered from injuries resulting from automobile accidents, sports injuries, workplace injuries, spinal cord injury, stroke, or other disabling condition.
Our physician may coordinate your care with other medical professionals or offer a non-surgical treatment, such as medications, therapeutic exercise, injections, assistive devices, heat and cold therapy, massage, biofeedback and electrotherapies, as well as many others.
